Anticipation

It can be a good and a bad thing. For the most part, I am glad that the excitement and anticipation that accompanied the first few months of trying is gone. It's taxing on your psyche to get hyped up only to be disappointed. Moving on to IUI, I would say that a modicum of excitement/hope is back, but not too much. I even have hopes for this cycle. I keep smacking it down like a whack-a-mole, but it keeps popping its optimistic little head up.
I was reading the blog of a woman who tried for a very long time to get pregnant, and finally is, 30 months later. I'd link it, but its a private one. Most of you will know who MayDayGirl is. Anyway, reading her blog, the excitement and happiness she feels just rolls off the computer monitor and washes over you. Well, over me, anyway. Its hard not to get caught up in it. For a stranger that I have never, nor will ever meet (nor did I ever converse with her on the message boards) I am very happy for her and her husband.
In her latest post, she posted about deciding to go with cloth diapers. I also plan to do so, even though my SILs seem to think I am a lunatic for even considering it. She links to a post that I am linking to here, so that if I ever do manage to get KU, I will be able to find it again, so that I can learn more about cloth diapering.
Thinking about cloth diapering, and all the things that come along with having a baby filled me with some excitement again. And it's OK. A little bit is good. I think I can control it.

God know we wouldn't want some unbridled Hope running rampant over my psyche. **Shudder**
That could get ugly.

I am all for cloth diapers...although I just can't get over the idea of washing poopy diapers in the same machine I wash clothes...there's got to be another way!

Hey you - hope is always around the corner trying to swoop me up!

I love cloth diapers too. And I love the Bum Genius ones we did a shoot the other day with them and they were so easy for the kids! Love them! G-Diapers are good for the disposable/cloth crossover thing too!

Thank you for posting the diaper info! I've been thinking about it but every time I read about them online I get a little overwhelmed trying to figure out what's what. GL this cycle....

I am also planning to use cloth diapers! I found a wonderful website that kinda helps explain everything.

I found it useful and will likely be going with them since they are not too far from us.

Ok...I bought 3 cloth diapers from a website about a month ago. I can't believe I bought something for a baby. A nestie on 6+ posted about g diapers...I'm totally sold! Here's a link.

And as for the hope coming back....I definitely felt that way with our first IUI cycle, like we are doing something different, something that is helping our chances! We are in the 2ww of our 2nd IUI cycle and I still feel that hope. I just keep thinking, well our swimmers had a good chance, they didn't have to do any of the hard work. But it is still so stressful to wait to know if it worked!
