Famous Relative

Rumor has it that Casey Stengel is distant relative of mine. My grandmother has an autographed picture of him. Most people don't seem to know who he is. I pinched this bio:

Major League baseball player and manager. Before embarking on a baseball career Charles “Casey” Stengel was a dentist in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri. He began playing professionally in 1910 and broke into the Major Leagues in 1912. For fourteen years the lefthander roamed the outfield for the National League teams of Brooklyn, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Boston. After his playing days the “Old Perfessor” became one of baseball’s most successful managers. He began his managing career leading American Association teams in Brooklyn, Boston and Milwaukee. But it was with the New York Yankees that he experienced the most success. Managing the Yankees from 1946 to 1960, the colorful and witty leader guided his team to ten American League pennants and seven World Series titles. He holds the major league record of managing a team to five consecutive pennants and five consecutive World Series championships. From 1962 to 1965 he managed the New York Mets before retiring and being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Remembered for his success as a player and manager, as well as his keen sense of humor he is considered one of baseball’s greatest ambassadors.

That's my famous relative. Oh, also, my greatgrandfather invented "Turtles". Back when it was a small candy factory in Southern Ontario, it was his job to come up with new candies. This is why I am not stinkin' rich. That was my first question too, when I heard this little tidbit. On an related note, it was my great Grandmother who came up with the name for the company "Smiles and Chuckles" by now, long absorbed by Nestle.
